And no, I am not talking about me…although I do love my power tools, and my lipstick, and my 3 inch heels…I digress. I recently discovered a woman after my own heart. Anna White of Knock Off Wood is a self-claimed girly girl with a desire to make beautiful things, all by herself. It is a bonus that she comes with some absolutely mad computer design skills and she is willing to share…drum roll…furniture plans that you can make yourself !

Knock of Wood’s plans are intended to be easy, cost effective, user friendly versions of substantial shabby chic furniture. The site’s format has offered families inspiration and confidence that they too can decorate their homes similar to the pages of Better Homes and Gardens. My hope is that Anna will keep sharing her wonderful talent for making everyday people feel like master carpenters. What an amazingly talented lady.
